TCC is a home health care agency specializing in in-home cardiovascular and pulmonary disease management. Whether recovering from a hospitalization or surgery, or dealing with a new medical diagnosis, our patients enjoy the peace of mind that comes from having ICU experienced staff providing health care in their homes.

Texas Cardiac Care being locally owned and operated allows us to respond to the needs of our patients with more efficiency than agencies operating underneath a corporate umbrella. Doug is the CEO, Clinical Director and a founding member of TCC. He has over 25 years of clinical knowledge and experience. While serving our military with humility for over two decades, following college, he worked 10 years in a Harris Methodist Fort Worth Intensive Care Unit. During an experience working part-time seeing patients for a home health agency in the late 1990s, he knew had found his calling. “The result is one of the most highly regarded home health agencies in North Texas, and makes working in home health care a hobby for me.”

Kathryn (Kitie) Hermes

Kathryn (Kitie) Hermes

CFO

Joined TCC in 2015 as CFO following retirement of founding member & CFO, Joy Gamble, RN. Kitie is a vice president at Select Energy Services. She joined Select Energy Services in January 2011, and serves as Vice President for the organization’s Information Technology, Procurement and Fleet Management departments. Prior to joining Select, Mrs. Hermes spent 22 years working with Peterbilt, Kenworth and their respective dealers. Most recently, she held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for JX Enterprises, a dealer group based in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. Her current certifications include: Certified Public Accountant | Texas State Board of Public Accountants, Six Sigma Green Belt & Champion, United Way Board Member | Cooke County, Texas, and a Licensed Foster Parent. Kitie has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of North Texas

Krystal Dake

Krystal Dake

MA - Administrator, HR/Office Manager, Billing Specialist

Krystal is TCC’s administrator. She has been employed with TCC as the Alternate Administrator, Billing Specialist, and office/HR manager since early 2012. She has worked in the home health field since 2005. She earned a degree for medical assistant in 2004 and continues to pursue further degrees. She is married to the love of her life and her high school sweetheart since December 2005. She currently has no children, but plans to start a family in the near future. Krystal “enjoys the small things in life, and spending time with family and friends.”
