Doug is the CEO, Clinical Director and a founding member of TCC. He has over 25 years of clinical knowledge and experience. While serving our military with humility for over two decades, following college, he worked 10 years in a Harris Methodist Fort Worth Intensive Care Unit. During an experience working part-time seeing patients for a home health agency in the late 1990s, he knew had found his calling. “The result is one of the most highly regarded home health agencies in North Texas, and makes working in home health care a hobby for me.”

Kathryn (Kitie) Hermes

Kathryn (Kitie) Hermes

CFO

Joined TCC in 2015 as CFO following retirement of founding member & CFO, Joy Gamble, RN. Kitie is a vice president at Select Energy Services. She joined Select Energy Services in January 2011, and serves as Vice President for the organization’s Information Technology, Procurement and Fleet Management departments. Prior to joining Select, Mrs. Hermes spent 22 years working with Peterbilt, Kenworth and their respective dealers. Most recently, she held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for JX Enterprises, a dealer group based in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. Her current certifications include: Certified Public Accountant | Texas State Board of Public Accountants, Six Sigma Green Belt & Champion, United Way Board Member | Cooke County, Texas, and a Licensed Foster Parent. Kitie has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of North Texas

Rhonda Skinner

Rhonda is a Fort Worth native, wife, and mother of two adult children. She graduated from the University of North Texas. She retired from the State of Texas, and has now allowed her to explore more activities and interests. Since retirement, she has obtained a real estate license, started her own business selling aged balsamic vinegar and olive oils, and has continued to travel. Rhonda and her husband David enjoy cruises and recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise. She joined the TCC family in 2014 to continue her passion in social work. Her social work experience and love of people keeps her active in the community.
Tamra Whitaker

Tamra Whitaker

RN - Alternate Director of Nurses

Tamra received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1981 from Texas Woman’s University. She worked in critical care positions and was a cardiovascular case manager at THR Harris FTW. She was a Critical Care Director from 1986 to 1999 at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Grapevine. Tamra is experienced with multiple levels of complex diagnoses and comorbidities, wounds, and infusions. She has worked for Texas Cardiac Care since 2006, and currently holds a Case Management Certification.
Cynthia Riza

Cynthia Riza

CNA

Cynthia completed her CNA certification in 2010 at Heritage Trails Nursing & Rehab. She began working at Texas Cardiac Care in March 2011, and she has “loved every minute of it”. She enjoys working with her patients and has “built a trusting bond with them”. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, shopping, playing with her dogs, and hanging out with her friends.
Andrea Romeo

Andrea Romeo

RN

Andrea graduated from University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her first job was in Neurosurgical ICU in Memphis, TN. She then transitioned into the Emergency Rooms and Cardiac ICUs in Merced, CA, Del Rio, TX, Columbus, MS, and Plymouth, VA. After working in a hospital setting for 14 years and moving every 2-4 years with her Air Force husband and their three children, she was ready for a change as her husband retired from the USAF. They settled in Ft Worth. She joined Texas Cardiac Care in 2009, currently in a part-time status. She enjoys spending time with her children, traveling with her husband when the opportunity arises, volunteering with the medical staff at her church for community events, and taking her mom to visit her sister in Colorado doing some hiking while there.

Tiffanie graduated from Texas Women’s University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and from the University of North Texas in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. She has 6 years of experience in both adult and pediatric speech pathology. She started with Texas Cardiac in 2012. Her passions include swallowing and cognitive therapy. She is vital stim certified and working toward obtaining a board certification in Swallowing Disorders. “I love my job and strive every day to give all my clients the best care I can.”
Pamela Muth

Pamela Muth

LVN

Pam started her medical career as a Cardiovascular Tech at Harris Fort Worth Hospital. After working in the ICU/Telemetry units for many years, she went back to school to become an LVN. She has been an LVN for over 20 years with at least 12 of those years working with cardiovascular disease and critical care clients. She spent the other eight years working with the population affected by dementia. Pam has had the “opportunity to work with many great cardiologists that have taken me under their wing expanding my knowledge base further than any classroom ever could”. Pam is certified by the National Board of Certification for Palliative and Hospice Care Nursing, and is a member of the Alzheimer’s Society. She enjoys her free time quilting and traveling with her husband.
Amber Garrett

Amber graduated from Texas Women’s University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001 followed by six years of ICU experience. She has been employed as a Case Manager with Texas Cardiac Care since 2007.
Samantha Holland

Samantha Holland

MA

Samantha has been in the home health industry since 2015, when she joined the TCC staff as their office assistant. Samantha received an Associates in Language Arts degree in 2007, and a certification in Medical Assisting in 2009. She has been with her husband for 11 years, married for five of those 11 years. They have a six year old son and an eight year old daughter. She was a stay at home mother and caregiver for her father until March of 2015. Samantha enjoys spending her free time with her family and teaching herself new crafts such as sewing, crocheting, and painting.
Ben Arocho

Ben was born and raised in North Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene TX. After that he moved to southern California to attend Loma Linda University, where he completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in June of 2013. Ben’s passion is interacting and caring for people, so PT was a natural calling. He has worked in both the hospital and home health settings. He has been with Texas Cardiac Care since 2015.
Leon Montgomery

Leon Montgomery

Leon has been a part of the Texas Cardiac Care team since 2007. He is a retired Army Captain and served in Iraqi Freedom in a 2003 deployment. Leon’s passions are playing ice hockey and his family, not necessarily in that order. He is currently working on earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Most patients treated by Leon say his biggest strength is encouraging them to do what is necessary to get better.
Mary Tawil

RN - Alternate Administrator, Clinical Compliance Manager

Mary graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth, then from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked for 15 years in the cardiac care units at All Saints Hospital and Texas Health HMFW. She has worked as a surveyor for Texas Department for Aging & Disability Services (DADS). She has 20+ years’ experience in home health. She is certified in home health coding and OASIS review (HCS-D & COS-C), and is now full time with TCC as the QAPI Coding Compliance Manager and the Alternate Administrator.
